Hospital market

Markus has focused in particular on the hospital market and on the care sector in general over the past two decades. Markus is therefore represented in virtually all Dutch hospitals. The company delivers a range of doors that mainly involves the high-quality door positions. Operating rooms, intensive care departments, radiation rooms, quarantine facilities, etc.

The extremely long technical life, the low failure sensitivity and the variation in its door functionality (OR, fire, sound, radiation and pressure differences) make the Markus product extremely suitable for the services sector that can only adjust to outage and failure with difficulty. Being able to hermetically seal contributes towards safety: with regard to fire in relation to perfect compartmentisation, with regard to a virus outbreak in relation to infection and with regard to all scan rooms where the radiation effects must be channelled as carefully as possible.

It is easy to clean the doors, they can be automated immediately or at a later stage and they require surprisingly few structural modifications. Markus harmonises its products perfectly with the requirements of the target group.

Even the bed room is extremely suitable for the sliding door principle: checking in every open position, very silent, no draughts, very light to operate, falls within the fire standard, closes out light, sound-reducing and in addition is always ready for quarantine applications.
