From 27dB - 55 dB

A typical expertise of the Markus organisation is the acoustic door, with the Markus patented hermatic seal forming the solid foudation for the sound reducing qualities.

The standard Markus hermetic seal already produces a sound reduction of 27 dB. The Markus door achieves a reduction range of 27 dB - 55 dB by modifying the “whisling” spaces in-between the sealing rubbers and by equipping the door leaf with a specialist laminate. The door will still be user friendly. It can still be easily and silently operated and it can be automated immediately or later where  fast opening and closing times are options.

Acoustic doors sometimes have to be delivered in especially large dimensions. These special requirements represent additional logistical and construction challenges for the supplier. First and foremost, it is not always possible to bring a door inside an existing building. Markus has a considerable portfolio of succesfully project managing such cases.
