The acoustic properties of the Markus M5 contribute towards a feeling of comfort and minimum disruption for the operating team.

The total structure slides on the correct side which ensures that every movement occurs virtually silently and the door is also hermetic, so there are no air leaks that can cause noise or whistling. The sealing rubbers ensure the silent closure of the door panel; the main reason is that the door behaves in an inconspicuous way.

The M5 will remove the noice inconvenience of the adjacent operating rooms. Bone surgery and neurology can perform their own specific tasks undisturbed. Noisy corridors and assembly points, patient and machine noises that could disrupt the silence become more acceptable and it is far easier to accommodate these within the daily hospital context due to the sound reduction of the M5.
