Markus radiation doors are mainly applied in hospitals and in pharmaceutical laboratories. Performing MRI scans, PET scan rooms and X-ray departments; these are all examples of typical radiation door applications.

Hermetics

The significant additional benefit of a Markus radiation door is that it seals hermetically and thus, prevents radiation leaks. The door will ensure that a scattering effect is not possible. Compartmentisation must be fully assured at radiology departments, in MRI rooms, etc. Radiation must take place in room A and be radiation-free in room B. The hermetic Markus M5 offers the best solution.
